Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SwipeCart mobile application and related services ("SwipeCart", "the app", or "the service"). By creating an account or using SwipeCart, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
SwipeCart provides meal discovery, meal planning, grocery-list generation, and integrations that help you shop through third-party retailers such as Kroger and Walmart. Meal content is curated and bundled in the app; product availability and pricing come from retailers and may change.
Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use SwipeCart.
- You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
SwipeCart Pro subscription
SwipeCart is free to use. Swiping meals, the grocery list, and recipe pages and imports are free forever and require no subscription. SwipeCart Pro is an optional paid subscription that adds four things: planning a haul for the week under a budget, requesting dietary or recipe swaps, agent checkout at Kroger or Walmart, and creating a couples invite. Joining a couples invite someone else created is free.
- Name and length: SwipeCart Pro, an auto-renewing monthly subscription.
- Price: $3.99 per month (USD). Prices in other countries are set by Apple's regional pricing and are shown in the app before you buy.
- Free trial: new subscribers get 7 days free. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically to a paid monthly subscription at $3.99/month. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription before the trial ends.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Apple processes all payments; SwipeCart never receives or stores your card details.
- Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically each month unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops future charges; Pro features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
- Price changes: if we change the price, Apple will notify you and ask for your consent before the new price takes effect. You may cancel instead.
Losing or cancelling Pro never removes anything from your account and never disables safety features: dietary and allergen filtering of the meals you are shown is always free and is never part of a paid tier.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse SwipeCart, including attempting to bypass security, scrape the service, interfere with other users, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
Third-party shopping
Checkout, payment, fulfillment, returns, and product quality are handled by Kroger, Walmart, or other retailers—not by SwipeCart. When you connect a retailer account or follow a checkout link, you are subject to that retailer's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for retailer errors, stock availability, pricing discrepancies, or order issues.
Health and dietary information
SwipeCart is for meal inspiration and shopping convenience only. It is not medical, nutritional, or allergy advice. Allergen and dietary information is compiled from product labels and retailer data, which can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong — manufacturers change formulations without notice. If you or anyone in your household has a food allergy or medical dietary need, always read the physical product label before purchasing or eating, regardless of what the app shows. SwipeCart and its operators accept no liability for allergic reactions or other harm arising from reliance on in-app allergen or dietary information.
Intellectual property
SwipeCart, its branding, meal content, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
Disclaimers
SwipeCart is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwipeCart and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service or third-party retailers.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using SwipeCart at any time.
Changes
We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
